Job Opening - Quality Control Inspector

BACKGROUND:

We are looking for a person who is ready to join our team in the Quality Department to work alongside of other inspectors, engineers and technicians in a manufacturing environment, producing metal products used in various types of industries. We strive to maintain the highest quality standards throughout the entire production process. In doing so, the Quality Inspector plays an important role in monitoring process specification and interpreting the data to ensure that all necessary customer requirements are fulfilled. You will be encouraged to initiative continual improvement techniques and apply lean manufacturing principles as needed.

DUTIES:

Ensure established procedures are followed in accordance to quality standards related to the company and customer specifications
Maintain the calibration system for inspection equipment
Monitor incoming material inspection, perform in-process inspections and final inspections
Track & record quality measurement data and provide any recommendations for process or quality improvements
Work with external vendors, suppliers, and customers as needed as they relate to quality control issues
Perform first article inspections based on customer supplied drawings
Assist as needed in process/ engineering problem solving tasks
Participate in design review process as needed for new project development

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to set up and operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
Knowledge of various measuring and inspection devices using industry standard gauging technique
Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2015 Standar
Basic computer skills with MS Office applications
Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints
Strong leadership and problem solving abilities
Good communication & presentation skills
Experience in CNC programming and set-up is a plus. Will train candidate with strong background.
